Our client based in Clayton is a major player in the global paint and coating manufacturing industry.

They currently have an opening for a full-time Production Paint Manufacture to join their expanding team.

This role offers full-time hours from Monday to Friday with shift timings ranging from 6am to 6pm.

Upon completion of the training period, your compensation will be adjusted based on performance evaluations by your team leader and supervisor.

About the Role:

As part of a team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing paint manufacturing processes, including dispersion and assembly.
  • Recording production data using a computer or tablet.
  • Preparing raw materials for production.
  • Operating filling and related equipment efficiently.
  • Handling materials and managing goods receipt/dispatch.
  • Utilizing tablet-touch screen controlled manufacturing systems.
  • Conducting batch adjustments and quality testing.
  • Carrying out production make-up operations.
  • Operating automated filling systems.
  • Conducting basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance.

About you:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience in automated manufacturing or production is preferred.
  • Hold a Victorian Drivers License and Full Working Rights.
  • Strong computer skills for data entry.
  • Knowledge of OHS, GMP, and HACCP procedures.
  • Familiarity with 5S practices and general housekeeping.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
