About the role


Based in Colac and working closely with the Terminal Manager and area Leading Hand, you'll be responsible for the effective and safe bulk delivery of LPG products to Domestic, Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural, and Autogas customers.

With a focus on safety and OH&S compliance, you will ensure that Origin is meeting needs of our customers across the region.


Your day-to-day:

  • Assist in the multidrop delivery of LPG to customers across the Colac area in your own Tanker truck (not shared with others)
  • General maintenance and cleaning duties of vehicles
  • Your days are 10 hours minimum with some overtime required especially throughout the winter peak season
  • Some overnight travel required, although not a regular occurrence
  • Participation in safety activities including HSE meetings, observations, emergency response, incident reporting and audits
  • Ensuring that deliveries are made in an accurate and timely manner as per the daily scheduled requirements
  • Ensure that touch PC's are uploaded at the completion of each shift
  • Undertake and complete daily / weekly / monthly checks of assigned delivery vehicles and complete appropriate checklists in accordance with Origin Energy Operational Procedures
  • Reporting any customer Site Installation Defects or Hazards in the required format

About you
To be considered for this role, you will be experienced working in a logistics environment and display the below licences/attributes:

  • A Heavy Rigid Licence
  • Current Dangerous Good licence is essential
  • You're safety focused and have a genuine care for quality and compliance
  • Motivated and able to use your own initiative
  • Good customer service skills to be used when meeting Origin Energy customers
  • Ability to complete a week of training at our Somerton Terminal upon commencement
