Compliance Specialist

Reporting to the Group Compliance Manager, this role will be responsible for identifying and managing product and factory compliance risks as well as establishing and implementing quality, technical and compliant strategies for the Brandbank's Lifestyle Brands (allkinds, kikki.
K and FINE-DAY).
THE ROLE:
- Assess the business's future ventures to identify possible compliance risks
- Assist the Group Compliance Manager to create and implement quality, technical and compliant strategies
- Work with Design and Product teams to develop new products ensuring legal, safe and fit for purpose
- Manage the implantation of new polices
- Manage factory inspections for new and existing suppliers
- Ensure all products and packaging meet the regional/ international standards for quality, safety and compliance
- Mentor team through the implementation of new compliance programs and processes, providing advice and training as required
- Undertake overseas factory visits as required based on needs of business
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years previous experience working in production, quality or compliance
- Strong team player, with a proactive and selfdriven attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisation skills
- Ability to prioritise with strong time management skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
