About the team

FIS' Capital Markets arm caters to investment banks, investment managers, securities and trading firms, corporations, insurance companies, and more. Our solutions cover the full transaction processing lifecycle, risk management, and compliance across various asset classes and lending structures on both the Sell and Buy Side of the financial services sector, facilitated through our managed and professional services offerings.

What you will be doing

As a member of the Project Management Practice in Capital Markets, the Senior Program Manager will oversee the successful end-to-end completion of major, intricate customer projects and internal change initiatives following a structured, controlled, scalable approach based on tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • In collaboration with Capital Markets stakeholders, set goals for programs based on the business's strategic objectives, planning programs from inception to completion
  • Ensure alignment between the product delivery program ('build' activities including Business Analysis, development, QA), implementation projects, and support teams (Managed Services, Customer Services)
  • Maintain effective communication at all levels within client organizations, up to the C-suite, and within the FIS leadership hierarchy
  • Create, organize, and oversee multiple, large, interconnected projects
  • Manage and own the delivery strategy
  • Lead and assess Project Managers and other staff within a project engagement
  • Rigorously control and handle deadlines, budgets, and activities
  • Take full charge of program governance and commercial oversight
  • Assist in reviewing/rescuing programs to realign them
  • Establish, refine, and implement 'best practice' policies and procedures for program/project management activities across all FIS Capital Markets operations

What you will Bring:

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Program Manager, with a track record of handling complex, high-value programs
  • Prior experience in Capital Markets/Financial Services, with knowledge of Treasury Products being beneficial
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methodologies
  • Ability to engage effectively with C-suite clients, along with negotiation skills and the capacity to influence outcomes
  • Familiarity with MS Office and program management software (e.g., MS Project)
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel when required
