About the Project:


John Holland are delighted to have been selected to deliver the M- M12 Interchange, which includes widening the M7 between the M5 at Prestons and Richmond Rd at Oakhurst, and building a new interchange between the M7 and M12 and an upgrade to Elizabeth Drive to connect it to the M12.


The John Holland M7/M12 is currently assembling its Engineering & Design team and we are sourcing a Lead Design Manager for the Civil/Structures component.

Reporting to the Design Director, you will essentially manage the design delivery to achieve program and construction deadlines for allocated scope on the project.


Your Role:

  • Interface between designers, client and verification teams
  • Liaise with project construction team to ensure constructability requirements
  • Manage design development from concept through to IFC
  • Oversee junior design staff and mentor/develop
  • Ensuring design deliverables/milestones are achieved

About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a construction related field
  • Previous experience in a Design Management capacity on major infrastructure projects
  • The ability to work in a team and support the broader team objectives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
