NHP have an open vacancy within our NSW Sales team, based in Newcastle.

Reporting to the Team Leader – Automation Solutions, as Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for driving growth strategies across the customer value chain, including Consultants, Contractors, Switchboard Builders & End Users.

With the confidence of knowing you're carrying NHP's reputable brand on your shoulders, you will be given technology and resources to ensure you develop and maintain the strong customer relationships we pride ourselves on.

Key tasks & responsibilities include:
Building strong relationships with external customers within the Industrial Automation & Software market to ensure NHP products are represented appropriately, aligning key value messages and initiatives. Formulate and clearly communicate marketing and growth strategies to promote NHP's Industrial Automation & Software solutions into the local market Develop and implement account strategies for Automation & Software solutions based on current and anticipated customer requirements for nominated targets. Ensure budget is achieved and the sales team is informed of new product releases and market conditions. Provide sales team, product marketing managers, current and potential customers with pre-sales technical support, training, demonstrations, presentations, and proof of concept. Ensure CRM is updated regularly to reflect activities and current information on projects and customer contact details and opportunity pipeline. PRODUCTS – Industrial Automation & Software (full range of products including Rockwell Automation, Prosoft, HMS/Anybus, Stratus Technologies etc)

Ideally you will have / be:
An Electrical Engineering degree, Engineering degree in a related field or Trade qualification (A Grade Electrical License) Proven sales experience or a willingness to utilise your technical aptitude to develop your career in Sales Strong analytical skills in market investigations, sales forecasting & market analysis A team player with a 'can do' attitude & a willingness to work with a range of different customers and industry types An outstanding communicator who thrives on building strong relationships & listens to their customers and teams needs Highly motivated, focused and determined to succeed Confidence to deliver presentations to customers on a range of products In return, we will offer you:
