In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing exceptional projects in various sectors such as education, aged care, health, and retirement living, with project values reaching up to $50M.
About The Role:
- Manage the design process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all architectural, engineering, and statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with designers, consultants, and contractors effectively.
- Identify and mitigate design risks proactively while meeting project deliverables within set budgets and timelines.
- Provide support to the estimating team during tenders and the pre-construction phase.
- Offer expert technical advice and solutions throughout the design development process.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Design Manager within the construction industry.
- Thorough understanding of relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize effectively.
