Design & Build is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of one of Australia's largest Energy Projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Payroll Processing: Oversee and manage payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  2. Payroll Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
  3. Payroll System Maintenance: Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure efficient and accurate processing of payroll transactions.
  4. Payroll Team Management: Supervise and lead the payroll team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of payroll functions.
  5. Payroll Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
  6. Payroll Audits: Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
  7. Payroll System Development: Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.

Requirements

  1. Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum 10+ years' experience in Payroll, with proficiency in Preceda Payroll System.
