As experienced trade service providers servicing Noosa to Brisbane with head office based in Maroochydore, we are a long established local business, who have been in operation since 1988. We have enjoyed significant and continual growth over the past 4 years and with a professional service that exceeds our customers expectations, it's not surprising that we have been the long term holder of several major local government projects and tenders.

An opportunity exists for an experienced Field Staff - Team Manager to join our team. This full time role will encompass but is not limited to tasks such as delegating daily jobs to field staff, liaising with our clients and sub contractors and offering support to other key roles in the business.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in management roles, must be proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook with the skills to meet deadlines. The successful applicant will be trained to use our database and GPS tracking programs.

This is a fast paced office, with at times, high demands on the successful applicant to be able to proactively contribute to the team.

To be considered for this role you must have proven experience and the ability to fulfill the following tasks:-

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Management positions, with references – please provide these when you apply for this position.
  • Trade experience in the Plumbing industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills – you will be liaising with our field staff x 20
    (Plumbers, Drainers, Gas Fitters, Apprentices & Labourers), administration staff, clients, sub contractors and Government Departments on a daily basis.
  • Be prepared to start at 7.00am Monday to Friday.
  • Proven management skills, including being able to focus when under pressure and the ability to 'trouble shoot' and make decisions that are right for our business.
  • Ability to delegate work for our field staff, including an explanation of the scope of works and time frames.
  • Ability to estimate plumbing projects and provide written quotes to our clients
  • Take initiative.
  • Work Place Health and Safety experience and an understanding of associated laws.
  • Take full responsibility for this role and your actions.

This position offers a salary, which will be reviewed after a three month probationary period during a key performance indicator meeting.
