Position Overview
Responsible for the efficient and effective coordination and administration of Barossa Regional Gallery's
exhibitions, workshops and events; incorporating high level administration support and customer service for the
Barossa Regional Gallery Exhibition Committee and key stakeholders to promote the ongoing sustainability of
the Barossa Regional Gallery and the provision of Arts and Cultural Programs and Services to the Barossa
Community and its visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Gallery, Arts and Cultural Programs

  • Provide highlevel coordination and administration for the scheduling and delivery of Barossa Regional
Gallery's exhibitions, workshops and events in compliance with policy, process requirements and
Council's organisational values and objectives to ensure that timelines and key outcomes are effectively
met.

  • Liaise with, advise and build partnerships with key gallery stakeholders and customers relating to Gallery
exhibitions, workshops and events coordination and provide timely and effective communication and
planning in line with Gallery service levels.

  • Coordinate end to end arts and culture programs for the Barossa Regional Gallery, including the planning
scheduling, installation, and de-installation in line with processes and guidelines.

  • Liaise with key stakeholders including workshop facilitators and artists to program and deliver exhibitions,
workshops and events including planning and coordination of installation, hanging and collection of
exhibited works.

  • Coordinate, support and drive the Barossa Regional Gallery Exhibition Committee to regularly meet and
volunteer support, installations and hangings in line with Council processes and service levels.

  • Facilitate and respond to Gallery and Tanunda Soldiers' Memorial Hall event enquiries including venue
with Council processes and policy.

  • Facilitate the efficient and effective handling of works for sale including liaising with artists, processing
sales and organising logistics for delivery.
