Reporting to the Managing Director, the Showroom Consultant will help service the industry's leading interior designers, architects and stylists as well as our retail clientele.

A passion for interiors and strong administrative skills are required to work with our clients in the showroom on wide-ranging residential and commercial projects.
The Showroom Consultant will be a self-driven, motivated and reliable individual who will be able to effectively liaise with all internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:- Working directly with designers / architects / retail clients in our showroom to specify our broad range of rug and carpet options
- including custom work;
- Issuing quotes/product specs to clients and carpet tender responses to builders;
- Liaising directly with subcontractors to coordinate deliveries and carpet installations;
- Assisting with the overall day to day running of the showroom to ensure it's perfectly displayed;
- Ensuring our client's sample libraries are up to date;
- Working at trade fairs and other events to represent our brand;
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience in highend retail / design industry is highly desirable;
- Resourcefulness with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills;
- Strong attention to detail with the capability to multitask, problem solve and effectively achieve team objectives;
- Strong administrative and organisational skills including high level computer literacy
- Experience in the daytoday operations of a retail business or in another fastpaced environment;
- Experience or education in the design industry;
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite;
- Experience working with architectural plans;
- Experience with Zoho CRM;
- Experience with international freight and logistics;
