Role

Join our team as a College Services Adviser and play a key role in supporting students in academic and non-academic areas. Be the main contact for students within the College, ensuring their success and satisfaction throughout their academic journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with unit choices, career counselling, and ensuring a smooth study journey
  • Participate in enrolment processes in collaboration with the Admissions and Enrolments Team
  • Direct students to appropriate support services and provide pastoral support as needed
  • Assist in timetabling as required
  • Monitor academic progress and attendance of students
  • Ensure seamless integration of various student services tasks to enhance student experience and business outcomes
  • Maintain detailed notes on student meetings in the student management system
  • Provide administrative support to staff and students when necessary
  • Respond to queries from management, marketing, and academic staff
  • Help students with course choices at the College and University
  • Assist students with entry requirements and applications into alternate pathways
  • Inform Under 18 students about College policies for underage students
  • Communicate with student residences regarding student experience and arrivals
  • Liaise with Admissions and Enrolments for post-admission processes

Requirements:

  • Understanding of the Australian Education system
  • Empathetic and caring personality
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills
  • Efficient in handling multiple tasks
  • Adaptable to changing work environments
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proficient in IT (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Results-oriented, ambitious, and highly self-motivated
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
