What you will do:


As our go-to person for all things streaming, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting platform issues, moderating content to make sure our platform is safe, appropriate, and enjoyable for all our users.

You will also keep a close eye on the latest streaming trends by staying up-to-date with new features and tools that can help our streamers achieve even greater success.


You will work closely with our streamers, getting to know them personally and helping them navigate the platform so that their streams run smoothly, ensuring they can deliver top-quality content and engage with their audiences.

With your expertise, you'll be able to help our streamers take their streaming game to the next level.

Requirements:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist streamers and partners with using our live video streaming platform
  • Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during live streams
  • Manage streamer behavior and uphold community guidelines
  • Moderate and curate content to ensure it meets our community standards
  • Work with the engineering team to identify and fix platform issues
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with streamers and partners
  • Provide regular feedback to the Kick team on how to improve the platform
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices

You're perfect for this role if:

  • Minimum two years of experience in providing customer support, technical assistance or related roles
  • Experience with content creation or live streaming
  • Prior experience in moderating and curating content or at least moderating a community
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with streamers
  • Technical proficiency with live video streaming platforms and troubleshooting issues
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to uphold community guidelines and manage streamer behavior

It would be a bonus if you also had (Desirable skills):

  • Experience working in a start-up environment
  • Familiarity with team communication platforms such as Teams, Slack or Discord
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their content policies
  • Knowledge of video editing software
  • Certifications or training courses related to customer service or technical support
  • Cryptocurrency knowledge would be advantageous
  • Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, Airtable & Intercom
  • Australian work rights are preferred.
