Responsibilities:
- Manage the GM's schedule, coordinating meetings, appointments, leaves, and travel arrangements.
- Handle correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls, and represent the GM with internal and external parties as needed.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other necessary documents for the GM.
- Act as a bridge between the GM and hotel staff, guests, and external partners.
- Organize and conduct meetings, compile meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Assist in planning and executing hotel events and functions.
- Monitor and provide updates on projects assigned by the GM.
- Manage VIP guest arrangements and ensure top-notch service delivery.
- Address escalated guest complaints or issues brought to the GM's office.
- Maintain confidentiality on sensitive business matters and track staff-related concerns.
- Perform additional tasks as delegated by the GM to support hotel operations.
Qualifications:
- Proactive Attitude: Demonstrate proactive behavior in anticipating the GM's needs and taking initiative independently.
- Experience: Prior experience as a personal assistant or in admin roles in the hospitality sector is essential.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adjust to changing priorities and work schedules, including weekends and evenings if required.
- Customer Service Orientation: Strong customer-centric approach to handle guest-related matters and uphold service excellence.
- Cultural Awareness: Appreciation for diverse cultures, crucial in an international hospitality setting. Proficiency in verbal and written English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
