We are seeking Direct Support Workers to assist our Aged Care Clients in Ballina and surrounding areas.

We need team members who are flexible, experienced, adaptable, and creative to accommodate a variety of client needs.

As a Direct Support Worker, you play a crucial role in people's lives of all backgrounds and ages, assisting with:

  • Personal care support, including showering, toileting, dressing, and more
  • Administering medications
  • Manual handling and mobility assistance
  • Domestic tasks like cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Engaging with the community through appointments, shopping, or recreational activities

The ideal candidate for this role:

  • Is a skilled communicator dedicated to providing excellent service
  • Is an attentive listener who can work independently and in teams
  • Remains calm and confident in various environments while respecting professional boundaries
  • Provides personal care with respect and sensitivity
  • Believes in inclusivity, client focus, respect, and integrity
