- These Sales Representative position based in Melbourne, (two roles, one in North Melbourne, one in South Melbourne), will be responsible for both securing new customers and developing existing customers, growing the business within the segments of dairy, meat, grain, feed & forage, wine & beer and laboratories across North & South Melbourne & Victoria.
- You will work directly with customers and prospects, supported by colleagues throughout ANZ from the various industry segments, above. Your customers will be heads of QA, Manufacturing/Site Managers, GM's & Heads of Procurement, you will have an established account list and all customers are known.
- You will be responsible for sales through face to face meetings, virtual meetings and negotiations with customers.
- You will undertake continuous sales and product training on new and existing products.
- You will maintain an active and constant pipeline to achieve/exceed sales budgets.
- You will be able to demonstrate a versatile profile, both hunting and farming, someone who is able to work both independently and as part of a team, taking full ownership for achieving/exceeding business sales targets.
- You operate in a wellstructured manner and will be responsible for creating and executing annual business plans.
- Ideally, a minimum of 35 years of experience, holding a related degree is beneficial but not necessary. Ideally you will have commercial experience in manufacturing, engineering or life sciences sales, with a preference for sales of capital equipment, understanding the "long" sales cycle, with an aptitude for technical products.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software and have experience using and maintaining a CRM.
- Be an effective communicator across different levels of organisations (internally and externally).
- Have strong negotiation skills and demonstrable previous sales growth achievements.
- Be able to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and have a strong customer focused mindset.
- You will be passionate, determined, selfmotivated and enthusiastic.
