This is your opportunity to join carsales as a Digital Marketing Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for owning and driving our digital marketing activity across the 'buy' product portfolio, end to end, through our primary digital and performance channels - Paid Search, Meta (Facebook Ads), and Onsite Display.

You will manage, implement, optimise, and regularly report back to key stakeholders on performance against key business targets.


This is a hands-on role, looking after the end-to-end management of digital and performance marketing campaigns across key digital channels and platforms.

You will work closely with other digital marketing experts and the broader marketing team to explore new growth opportunities across our brand and product portfolio and be responsible for delivering and reporting marketing and business KPIs.

Working in a fast-paced environment, your attention to detail in campaign management and reporting will serve you well, as well as a sense of curiosity and eagerness to further develop and grow the performance marketing program.

Job Description:

What you'll be doing

  • Develop, execute and manage crosschannel digital marketing campaigns across key digital marketing platforms, such as Google Ads, Search Ads 360, Meta Ads Manager, and onsite display activity through Google Ad Manager, ensuring KPIs are in line with business and campaign objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate the Onsite Merchandising program across the carsales 'buy' product and services portfolio, utilizing the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to create and distribute segments to key digital channels.
  • Working closely with our SEO team to identify and implement opportunities for efficiency across our organic and paid search activity.
  • Collaborate with the broader digital team and the marketing team to extend campaigns into digital channels.
  • Track, Optimize, Learn, Report, Repeat will be your daily mantra with commercial opportunities and ROI your nirvana.
  • You will conduct regular research and stay abreast of current industry trends to ensure the campaigns are at industry leading standards reporting back to the wider marketing team on relevant insights that can complement other marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

What are we looking for?

  • Advanced knowledge and hands on experience in paid search, across platforms such as Google Ads, and Search Ads 360.
  • Strong Knowledge and hands on experience with Google Analytics.
  • Advanced knowledge and hands on experience within the Facebook Business Manager suite, including Ads Manager, Events Manager, and Commerce Manager.
  • Strong knowledge and hands on experience of all other major digital channels and platforms: Google Display Network, Google Ad Manager, and programmatic marketing platforms such as DV360.
  • Proven analytical ability and quantitative skills including strong Excel skills.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and experience in strategizing and implementing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Data driven, with the ability to report, analyse and tell a story with data.
  • Stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and report back on performance in a timely manner.
