Who are we?

Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) is the largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne, situated in the twin cities of Albury and Wodonga. Our team of nearly 3,000 staff members serves a population of 250,000 in North-East Victoria and Southern NSW. AWH is a growing organization with new state-of-the-art Emergency and Mental Health facilities.

The Opportunity

The Vascular Surgeon position at AWH involves providing Vascular services to patients, including those in the General Surgical Services and the Emergency Department.

Duties include:

  • Delivering high-quality Vascular Surgical services and supervising team members
  • Participating in the Acute Surgical Unit and on-call services
  • Conducting outpatient sessions and operating theater/procedural lists
  • Providing consultation services to Emergency Department patients
  • Offering supervision, support, and training to medical students and junior staff
  • Utilizing Clinical Support Time for research, education, training, or innovation

Role Capacity: Full-time or fractional employment based on the successful applicant.
