You will also be involved in helping to generate new leads as new customers call through, ensuring all details are passed on to the relevant team accurately and in a timely manner.


A day in the life of a Customer Service Executive at Shorty's...

  • Identify and resolve customer issues/concerns promptly. Deliver a high level of customer service both internally and externally.
  • Ensure communication is appropriate, clear and covers all necessary information.
  • Actively promote a positive and supportive culture within the business. Maintain a friendly and positive manner across all touch points providing a consistent customer experience.
  • Manage New Business leads and enquiries identifying potential opportunities and makes recommendations on how to proceed
  • Accurately quote for events and functions to maximise GP and limit returns.
  • Attention to Detail:
  • Maintain and update customer records within the prescribed tools & software as needed and update all user manuals.
  • Facilitate credit card transactions.
  • Order processing with accuracy and in a timely manner.
  • Process credit notes promptly to avoid stock discrepancies.

  • Immediate updates of important customer information. Advise purchasing manager immediately of out of stocks, delivery or new product requests.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Confident communicator both verbal and written.
  • Previously worked in an office environment.
  • Ability to learn software programs quickly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Eager to learn and looking for career progression
