Be part of a new way forward for road network management in Victoria. We're looking for a Data & Reporting Analyst to start early June, based out of our Melbourne CBD office

About the Role

Starting in July this year, we'll be working across Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs and right down the Mornington Peninsula, delivering routine maintenance, emergency response and defect rectification works, as well as network refurbishment and upgrade projects, under a major long-term contract with the Victorian Government.

How you'll contribute:

Reporting to the Project Director the Senior Contract Administrator contributes by providing commercial and contractual support to the Victorian road maintenance contracts as a member of the project team and the broader Trasport division.

Specifically, the Data & Reporting Analyst is accountable for:

Contract Administration

Interpret and administer contractual rights and obligations Administer head contract and subcontract agreements, including processing of notices, progress claims, variations, and extension of time requests Draft contractual correspondence for approval Maintain contract and contract correspondence registers

Project Controls

Provide contract administration support to project teams with respect to head contract and subcontract agreements, including drafting and managing notices, progress claims, variations and extension of time requests. Maintain contract, risk and opportunity and correspondence registers Prepare and provide input to the development of various reports

General

Provide ad hoc support to Commercial projects across the business

About you:

You'll have at least 5 years' experience in a comparable role, ideally in directly relevant industries such as project contract administration, legal, commercial or procurement

A committed team player who drives for service excellence and continuous improvement, you'll demonstrate:

Familiarity with procurement processes, construction contracts, estimating, scheduling and contract administration principles Ability to read and interpret contractual documents, with a working knowledge of contract law and terminology Expertise in schedule and cost plan analysis and measurement, contractual claims analysis, and contractual variation management Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, commerce, quantity surveying, finance etc) or certification in contract management (RICS, CPCM or similar).
