Head of Delivery - Core Foundations

Your new role


QBE's Australia Pacific (AUSPAC) Division is undergoing on an enterprise digital transformation, which will materially improve our customer, partner, and employee experiences to deliver our AUSPAC strategy.

To drive delivery of the core technology foundations of this program, we are currently hiring a Head of Delivery - Core Foundations.


Acting as the delivery lead for the core foundational technology components of our Modernisation program, you will work closely with the Transformation Director and other stakeholders across business and technology to drive outcomes.


To do this, you will:

  • Provide delivery leadership for all components including planning, financials, risk, and more
  • Coordinate and drive execution of all Core Technology Foundations stream deliverables
  • Collaborate with Heads of Technology Platforms, Value Stream Leads and other key stakeholders to ensure effective planning and execution
  • Ensure alignment of priorities with those of the broader enterprise
About you

Key to your success in this role will be the following experience and attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience in technology implementations at scale, with strong technology program management exposure
  • Proven success in leading core platform replacements and migration to cloud
  • An ability to connect program objectives with enterprise goals and outcomes
  • A strong sense of autonomy and leadership, with an ability to drive outcomes through others within a matrix environment
  • Exceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills, developing extensive networks to drive thought leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to work within an environment of ambiguity and change, reprioritising outcomes as and when required
  • Experience with Agile ways of working
