The Client & Role:


We are currently working with a major utilities organisation, they have a requirement for a End User Services Technician to join the organisation.

Initially offered until the end of 2023 the role has a strong likelihood of further extension within the organisation.

The purpose of this role is to provide technical and analytical support for End User Services (EUS) across the broader organisation.


Responsibilities:

  • Operate, support, secure and enhance End User Services and SOE (hardware and software), including Collaboration technology and mobile device management
  • Respond to incidents, requests and problems within defined SLA's
  • Maintain a knowledge base for L1 and L2 support
  • Strongly engage with the SGSPAA end user community and deliver an exception customer experience across EUS
  • Develop and maintain operational processes and procedures applicable to EUS
  • Collaborate with internal support teams and vendors
  • Ensure that end user services and platforms are enhanced, optimised, efficient and highly automated

Required Skills and Specialisms:

  • You must have a full licence licence and car as the role requires travel between their CBD office and locations around the outer suburbs of Melbourne.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or Business or equivalent work experience.
  • ITIL Foundation or equivalent experience.
  • Technical certifications relevant to EUS support
  • Understand and develop software packaging & distribution.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple desktop patch environments and operating systems.
  • Demonstrated operational experience in EUS.
  • Experience in delivering support services across multiple clients and utilising multiple support delivery mechanisms
  • Working within a large multi customer organisation with varied user skill levels and desktop operating environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in the ability to keep abreast of technology trends and issues
