Sensible Care is an approved provider of Home Care Packages and we are looking for compassionate and reliable casual Home Care Workers to provide excellent home-based care services to our senior client base around Wantirna, Bayswater, Croydon and surrounding suburbs of Melbourne:

The Home Care Workers typically provide these services:

  • companionship and social support,
- transport to appointments,
- personal care,
- respite care,
- domestic assistance and light housekeeping duties, and
- overnight stay.

As a Home Care Worker, you should be a dependable, responsible, calm and practical person and have (or willing to obtain) the following:

  • A clear Police Check certificate
  • Covid19 Vaccination Certificate
  • First Aid and CPR and Manual Handling certificates
  • Certificate III in Aged, Individual Support or similar (if you don't have these qualifications and want to obtain, we can assist with the process)
  • A caring and positive attitude with strong communication skills.
  • A current driver's licence.
  • A reliable roadworthy vehicle and car insurance.
  • Willingness to travel to clients' homes to provide services and being prepared to take on transport shifts.
  • Ability to work on multiple days and at different shifts.
