About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Assistant to join our team at Centennial Lodge Residential Aged Care Facility in Wantirna South.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality food and beverage services to our residents, ensuring their individual nutritional requirements and preferences are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, serve, and present food and beverages in accordance with our Food Safety Program.
  • Resident Care: Ensure that the correct food and beverages are served to each resident according to their dietary and specialized nutritional requirements.
  • Dining Room Maintenance: Maintain a clean and well-presented dining room, ensuring tables are neatly set and residents have a positive dining experience.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, presenting in a professional manner at all times.
Requirements
  • Police Clearance: Hold a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Covid-19 Vaccination: Be vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and provide proof of vaccination prior to commencement.
  • Food Handling Certificate: Hold a current Food Handling Certificate.
