The rooftop restaurant and bar in Robina offers guests a seasonal dining experience in a modern venue with unmatched hinterland views.

It is a place where guests can unwind and enjoy fine wines coupled with locally sourced produce, and where menus are inspired by a commitment to sustainability.

Green Fields is located at our Robina campus where sustainability is embedded into every aspect of operations including campus design, course curriculum and student life.

Our Robina campus is a place that is not just a place of learning for our students, but a place for the community to come together.

Students will practise their new-found skills, connecting with the local community at our live training facilities including Green Fields, Seedpod Café,
TQFitness Centre and our Event Centre.

Join us to work collaboratively with our highly experienced industry educators to form part of a unique student journey, which will guide and develop the future stars for the Hospitality industry.

This is a casual opportuntiy with availablity required for day and evening shifts, Monday to Saturday.
Key Responsibilities

  • Showcase a warm and friendly style of service that curates an unforgettable and personalised experience for our guests from start to finish.
  • Setting up the café, restaurant or event centre ready for service
  • Restocking miseenplace
  • Work with and maintain a 'best practice' approach to Food and Beverage operations.
  • Receive orders and serve customer requests completely in a timely manner.
  • Understand menu content, any menu changes and promotional activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the key operations staff to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • The ability to multitask and cope with high pressure service situations without compromising standards, productivity or quality.
  • Keep your service area clean, tidy and well prepared.
  • Efficiently manage customer payments.
  • Answer guest queries in a polite and helpful manner.
  • Understand and implement all legislation in regards to the Responsible Service of Alchol.
  • Model and actively promote an ethical and safe work environment that supports a culture of zero harm and best practice regarding health, safety, wellness and sustainability.
Highly Desirable Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Barista training
  • Queensland RSA Certificate or willingess to obtain
  • Qualifications in Hospitaltiy (Food & Beverage)
  • Understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the ability to adapt sustainable practices into all aspects of the role and service delivery.
