About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Professional to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and review WHS Management Plan for legislative compliance.
- Oversee Workers' Compensation and Injury Management Program.
- Lead, coach, and manage the WHS Team.
- Monitor WHS Improvement Plan and annual programs for system effectiveness.
- Manage WHS Committee and obligations.
- Provide advice to management for sustained improvement in WHS.
- Report and investigate WHS incidents.
- Undertake risk management activities and analyze data.
- Oversee fire drills and evacuation procedures.
- Manage Workers' Compensation and Injury Management process.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience as a Senior Health and Safety professional.
- Industry-recognized qualification in Work, Health & Safety.
- Knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations, and guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to educate about policy changes.
- Capability in risk assessments, data analysis, and reporting.
- Proficient in case management and obtaining positive outcomes.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Positive leadership approach and adaptability to change.
