We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor to join our team at Citywide Health Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, clients, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental management systems to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders to stay up-to-date on the latest health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
  • Formal qualifications in Health, Safety, and Environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in health, safety, and environmental advisory roles, preferably in the mining and resources or infrastructure construction sector.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation, codes of practice, and relevant Australian standards.
  • Understanding of health, safety, and environmental management systems, including ISO45001 and ISO14001.
  • Experience with auditing health, safety, and environmental processes to ensure compliance with WHS and environmental legislation and health, safety, and environmental management systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to design and implement procedures and checklists that comply with WHS legislation.
  • Experience with site safety inspections to national safety standards.
  • Experience with incident investigation methods, such as ICAM or TapRoot.
  • Ability to identify and implement safety training initiatives and deliver to the greater business.
  • Construction Industry Training Card.
  • Valid Driver's Licence.
  • Must be able to pass a Medical and Drug & Alcohol screen.
  • Australian Work Rights.
