About the role
Joining the company for a 12 month fixed term contract you will be responsible for all production planning and procurement activities end to end to ensure a seamless process


this role will be solely responsible for production planning for a mid-sized environment handling around 10-50 production orders per day.

The role will also involve hands on procurement responsibilities associated with production planning.

Duties

  • Coordination of orders including creation, amendment, reissue, rescheduling
  • Complete a range of scheduling tasks (including MRP Controllers, PCC)
  • Establish a strong relationship with Sales, Customer Service and Warehouse/Factory to ensure a seamless process that provides a smooth and hassle free experience for the customer
  • Liaise with Sales and Customer Service teams regarding dispatches, short ships, delays, stock queries and part numbers.
  • Complete reporting (including EOM, COGI, outstanding upgrades)

Skills & experience

  • Proven experience in a production planning/scheduler role
  • Experience using SAP or willing to learn
  • Problem solving ability
  • Office administration experience
  • Experience in Customer service.
