ABOUT THE ROLE:

Summary of the role:

  • We are a busy and dynamic clinic where you will provide full support to the doctors in their private practice within the Mercy Hospital for Women.
  • Private Consulting Suites, Mercy Hospital for Women, Heidelberg
  • Permanent part time position available, plus availability to cover leave
  • Answer all phone enquiries, book appointments, manage referrals
  • Detailed and complex diary management
  • Meet and greet all patients, day to day running of busy doctors clinics
  • Invoicing and payments
  • Follow up results and reports
  • Liaise with our Doctors regarding patient enquiries
  • Liaise with other staff within Mercy Hospital for Women and other hospitals
  • Public Hospital salary packaging available

ABOUT YOU:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Administration and previous diary management experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi task
  • Work autonomously and as part of a small team
  • Use your initiative and be flexible to meet deadlines
  • Ability to learn new medical computer programmes

  • Mercy Hospital for Women is a fully accredited Level 6 Public Specialist Teaching Hospital providing both public and private patient care through maternity services, neonatology and paediatrics, perioperative services, gynaecology, women's health and associated health, support and diagnostic services. We are a major teaching hospital and specialist referral centre with the medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health expertise to treat the most complex obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological cases.
