You'll provide direct care to patients in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including assisting with patient care interventions and maintaining accurate health care documentation.


The Multi-Purpose Service model (MPS) exists in smaller communities and is aimed at integrating a range of health services, including acute care, subacute care (including respite and palliative care), emergency, allied health, primary health and community health services, under one management structure.


If you have:

  • CHC30208 Certificate III in Aged Care or CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support/or equivalent, OR equivalent experience, OR completion of one (1) or more years of training as an undergraduate nursing student
  • Availability to participate in a 24 hour/seven day rotating roster which includes working all shifts, all days of the week including public holidays
  • Good knowledge of basic nursing care including physiologic observations and assistance with activities of daily living
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control standard precautions
