Eldercare is seeking a Full
- time
Maintenance Officer to provide essential professional maintenance services across Eldercare's residential aged care facility located in Seaford, South Australia.

What is the role:

  • Provide excellent customer service to our residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Carry out a variety of hands on programmed and reactive maintenance duties including gardening, painting, minor plumbing and building repairs
  • Electrical Testing and Tagging (Training provided)
  • Minor repairs to wheelchairs, beds, and various resident equipment
  • Assist in overseeing compliance relating to fire safety and accreditation
  • Supervise external contractors.

What do you bring:

  • Previous, relevant experience
  • Selfstarter with excellent time management skills and able to prioritise work
  • A pleasant, friendly, and helpful approach with a positive and cando attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop positive working relationships
  • Current Driver's Licence

  • To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people) and the clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue._
