What You Will Be Responsible For Designing networks to withstand and recover from disruptions and failures.
Designing scalable networks to handle user and data traffic increases - ensuring flexibility, optimum performance and reliability.
Establishing industrial and serial communication protocols for real-time communication.
Carefully planning and implementing Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) integrations for seamless data exchange and interoperability.
Installing and configuring switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points across the rail operation.
Implementing robust security measures to protect data and systems from cyber threats and unauthorized access.

Using encryption, authentication, access control, and audit trails to secure communication channels and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Conducting risk mitigation exercises like design review and assessments (DRA), and threat and vulnerability assessments (TVA)What you will bring to the role Proven success as a Senior Network Engineer with experience in architecture and design or as a Network Architect Advanced network device management and configuration Experience with NIST, ISO and/or Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)Experience implementing industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profinet, CAN bus, OPC-UA and/or DDS About working with Valrose - We listen.
