Opportunity for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems Architect in the Business Transformation Team

The PTA is gearing up for a major transformation in the way our people work. The 'Business Transformation Program' will reshape the PTA's corporate operating model and technology, enabling us to become a truly insight driven organisation. To achieve this ambitious goal, we need people who are committed to leveraging technology to drive growth, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

About the Role

As an ERP Systems Architect, you'll play a critical role in designing and optimising PTA's corporate operating systems. Utilising your knowledge of contemporary systems and interfaces, you will design our future ERP architecture blueprint and develop a team to effectively transitions the organisation to the new future state.

In this role your key focus will be:

  • Collaboration with stakeholders to develop PTA's ERP system architect with technologies that support data-driven decision making and alignment with the PTA's strategic objectives.
  • Design and implement PTA's future ERP system architecture blueprint focusing on automation, system integration and data accessibility to foster better ways of working of working.
  • Establish and develop a skilled project team to facilitate the transition to the new ERP system blueprint and the decommissioning of existing systems.
  • Ensure the planning, execution and decommissioning of the ERP systems, adheres to enterprise architecture principles, corporate governance frameworks and security protocols.
  • Offer system architect expertise and guidance to the business transformation team and stakeholders to drive innovation and achieve the business transformation program's goal of delivering effective and modern ways of working.

This is a unique 5-year fixed-term contract, offering an immediate start and the opportunity to leave a lasting mark on Western Australia's public transport landscape.

About You

This role would suit someone with approximately 3 to 5 years' experience in solutions architecture or in the design and governance of a large complex ERP solution.

You will be passionate about technology innovation and driving business transformation; a forward thinker who thrives on staying at the forefront of technology advancements. You understand the importance of networking and collaborating with the tech community and actively engaging with peers and thought leaders to assist with the delivery of a modern system architecture. With a mindset of continuous improvement and growth, you will seek out opportunities for the PTA to streamline processes, optimise systems and continually evolve our technology landscape.

As part of a dynamic team, you will contribute to a positive work environment through your people and communication skills. You will be able to communicate the big picture and bring others along the journey of change to the way we operate.

The selection process aims to fill the current vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process will be considered for similar vacancies that occur for up to 12 months.
