Volunteer Community Transport Car Cleaner:

Time involved: 1 day per fortnight

  • Time frame: ongoing
  • Time commitment: 1 day per fortnight flexible weekdays/late afternoons
Red Cross provides community transport to people who are 65+ years of age and also those people with disabilities.

We support members of the community to be more independent, to improve their wellbeing and social connection and to remain living in their own home.


The opportunity
This role would suit someone living close by in either Bridgewater or Austins Ferry where the cars are based.

The impact


As a car cleaner you will support the Transport Program by maintaining clean and tidy cars that represent Australian Red Cross while on the road.

Our clients appreciate the feeling of cleanliness when they enter the car.

Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the World's largest humanitarian network.
