With support from the Production Superintendent and broader team, you will play an essential role in our daily operations, championing our core values of integrity, accountability, innovation, delivery, and safety.

Primary Duties:

  • Operate the CHPP plant daily, adhering to Sedgman procedures and meeting performance targets.
  • Perform breakdown maintenance as needed.
  • Regularly inspect operational equipment to promptly detect and address defects.
  • Conduct routine plant inspections to assess conditions and plan maintenance.
  • Remove blockages from all plant components, including pipework, pumps, chutes, screens, boxes, distributors, crushers, breakers, overloaded conveyors, sumps, and tanks.
  • Maintain cleanliness by clearing spillages and washing down areas to uphold housekeeping standards.
  • Safely operate mobile equipment within plant premises, including run-of-mine and product stockpiles.

Who are you?

  • Professionally certified with an electrical qualification recognised in Australia.
  • Willing to work rotating shifts including day and night rosters.
  • Reside in or near Upper Hunter Valley, NSW, or willing to relocate.
  • Possess a strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in electrical operations.
  • Effective communicator, team player, detail-oriented, and dedicated to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
