About the opportunity

Our programs are designed to support whilst making the transition from student to registered nurse within a supportive and welcoming environment. The aim is to promote educational opportunities to graduates as you consolidate your theoretical and clinical skills. This is a structured program with a comprehensive orientation, paid professional development days, and debriefing sessions which are supported by a dedicated learning team.

Position is for 6 months Inpatient at Werribee Mercy Hospital, Werribee – and 6 months community

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be presented with a certificate of completion.

Commencing in February and May.Applicants must be registered with the Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria Computer Matching Service and rank Mercy Health in their preferences. For further information visit:

Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.Current Australian Drivers Licence
