About the role

We are looking for recent Engineering Graduates with a strong interest in aviation and technical challenges. As a Graduate Engineer at Airbus Australia Pacific, you will apply your training and expertise to deliver Engineering solutions for Fixed Wing aircraft (C130J Hercules) and Rotary Wing Aircraft (ARH Tiger). This will involve a variety of tasks, from design to in-service support, allowing you to work on interesting projects within different engineering teams.

As a Graduate Engineer, you will undergo a structured program consisting of 3 rotations across various business units over two years (8 months per rotation). You will work closely with Senior Engineers and Subject Matter Experts, gaining a deep understanding of different project phases and business areas. This hands-on experience will contribute to your professional growth.

Throughout the program, you will have access to mentoring, tailored courses for skill development, and the opportunity to spend time in the Deeper Maintenance team during one of your rotations.

Specifically, you will engage in the following Engineering activities:

  • Managing Engineering tasks, providing advice, repairs, and modifications
  • Approving Engineering tasks, including technical investigations and instruction improvements
  • Supporting the operation of in-service products
  • Developing engineering advice and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness
  • Maintaining engineering records and databases for accurate reporting

  • Recent Graduate with a keen interest in aerospace and aviation
  • Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Software, or related fields from an accredited program
  • High personal and professional integrity
  • Effective team player with the ability to collaborate across different domains
  • Readiness to engage in technical problem-solving and document review
  • Eligibility for an Australian Government Security Clearance

As part of the Graduate Program, you will gain exposure to various aspects of the business, including Deeper Maintenance, and build foundational engineering skills under the guidance of experienced Engineers.
