About your new role

The role of the ICT Project Manager assumes accountability for delivery, both technical and business change, adhering to City's governance framework.

Drawing on your skills as an ICT Project Manager you'll have the opportunity to lead a variety of large, medium or small sized ICT projects into the future from foundational technology platforms and infrastructure, to integrated enterprise and SaaS business applications.

Key Deliverables of the position:

  • Lead and manage project deliverables end-to-end within scope, budget, time, and quality parameters
  • Plan and manage resources efficiently, ensuring technical feasibility and business outcomes.
  • Establish project governance and collaborate with procurement for ICT goods and services.
  • Develop relationships with vendors and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with ICT governance and strategic goals.
  • Implement risk management strategies and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability.

What you bring to your new role

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to navigate a complex organisation and proactively seek internal pathways and identify key stakeholders to enable project delivery.

They should possess a PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification, demonstrating a solid foundation in project management methodologies. Additionally, a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) qualification, or equivalent Agile certifications, is preferred. This combination of traditional project management and Agile expertise ensures the candidate is well-equipped to manage diverse project environments and methodologies.
