About the role:
Salary circa $120,000 including super + bonus opportunity. As the Team Leader for Accounts Receivable, you will report to the Accounts Receivable Manager. This position is situated in Barangaroo at a cutting-edge workspace and sustainable precinct. Hybrid work arrangements are available with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

This newly created role involves leading a dynamic team of 4. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing collections and recoveries function for all Corporate BU's.
  • Ensuring compliance with collection strategy and interventions.
  • Supporting the team to meet deadlines and SLAs.
  • Providing cash flow projections and reporting.
  • Managing internal and external Audit requests.
  • Motivating the team to achieve KPIs and SLAs.
  • Maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
  • Monitoring team and business metrics for success.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and driving process enhancements.
  • Addressing financial risks for continuous improvement.

About your experience:
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an Accounts Receivables leadership role. Key criteria for success include:

  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of relevant regulations and acts.
  • Customer service oriented approach.
  • Experience with multi-system accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Track record in process improvement and change management.
  • Positive mindset towards continuous improvement.
