Role:

Support Leadership with all aspects of marketing and communication within the College and externally.

Act as the first point of contact to students. Families and visitors reporting to the reception area of the school.

Responsibilities:

Marketing and Communications (0.6 FTE)

  • Support staff to write copy and create branded material for a range of college communications.
  • Develop social media posts for the College overall using Canva in the LSC brand, including significant dates; events; promotions; success stories; and key messages to students and the community.
  • Administer the College website and social media presence.
  • Develop and maintain College marketing and promotions materials e.g. business cards, yearbook, banners, prospectus.
  • Act as (or arrange) the official photographer at major College events.
  • Coordinate production of the College newsletter, the weekly staff newsletter and daily student bulletin.
  • Update electronic sign at front of college and internal communication screens.
  • Prepare video packages of highlights each term.
  • Coordinate the LSC Alumni program.
  • Support school photo processes alongside the Daily Organiser.
  • Liaise with and provide support to the Yearbook coordinator.

2. Office and Reception (0.4 FTE)

  • Receive visitors to the College and ensure they are directed to the relevant area in a professional manner.
  • Assist with signing in contractors, visitors, parents, and late students.
  • Receive and verify deliveries.
  • Carry out routine office tasks such as photocopying, laminating, filing, data entry, delivering messages, incoming and outgoing mail, and visitor registrations.
  • Assist with issuing of receipts and process all EFTPOS and cash taken over the front counter.

3. Other Duties**- Attend and participate in team meetings.

  • Undertake other duties related to the role as directed.
  • Participate in professional development and training to maintain the expected level of knowledge of current and best practice in the major areas of responsibility associated with the role.
