You will provide admin support to meet the office management needs of the Bank's Financial Markets Group and Economic Group.

You will work closely with the Executive Assistants in providing high-quality admin support, ensuring that administrative service delivery is effective and proficient.

We are open to the role being part time or full time.

Activities include

  • Undertaking office tasks such as: providing reception services; managing meeting rooms; updating procedures; undertaking simple inbox and diary management; assisting with events management; making travel bookings.
  • Partnering with other members of the Executive Support team to ensure the smooth operation of the Group.
  • Assisting the team with the preparation of information used in meetings, speeches and reports.
  • Providing financerelated support including paying invoices; working with Finance on purchasing; setting up new vendors; acquitting credit cards; processing staff reimbursements; and requesting basic finance reporting.
  • Be a point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders; and assist with a range of tasks as required.
  • Find opportunities to improve processes.

Your background

  • Organisational and problemsolving abilities, to deliver on multiple tasks.
  • Intermediate skills in all MS Office tools, in particular Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills at senior and executive levels and the ability to handle sensitive, confidential information in a professional manner.
  • A proactive approach to work, can work autonomously and employ initiative to find solutions.
  • Work effectively with Executive Support staff and contribute to the wider EA network within the Bank.
  • Knowledge of TRIM document management software, SharePoint or equivalent environment would be desirable.
  • Completion of qualifications, e.g. Certificate IV in Business Administration is highly desirable.

Your teams

Financial Markets Group is responsible for implementing the Reserve Bank's operations in domestic and foreign exchange markets, monitoring and analysing developments in financial markets and co-ordinating the Reserve Bank's relationship with international institutions.

Economic Group is responsible for analysing economic trends, forecasting and research that helps advise the Reserve Bank Board's monetary policy decisions.
