Sydney Water Partnership with Delivering 4 Customers (D4 C)

Sydney Water have partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4 C) to deliver design, construct, maintenance and facilities management services as part of the P4 S program in Sydney Water's Southern Region.

D4 C is a consortium comprising of John Holland, Service Stream, and WSP.

The partnership aims to provide long term employment opportunities to diversify the skills of the people in the southern region of Sydney and create pathways to enter the water industry.


Position:
Senior Mechanical Engineer


D4 C is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team in delivering excellence in the waste water program across the Southern Region.


The role will involve:
Supporting Construction Leads to ensure projects are delivered to scope within time, cost, quality, and regulatory standards.
Setting daily, weekly, and long-term project programs to achieve required outputs.
Monitoring costs, invoices, and claims for projects.
Contributing to project constructability with respect to design development.
Undertaking tender evaluation and award of subcontract procurement packages.
Monitoring equipment and material quality against drawings and specifications.
Managing work and performance of self-perform workforce and subcontractors.
Liaising and coordinating with external parties and relevant authorities.
Promoting safety, quality, environmental, and community culture.

Essential Requirements
To be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction, Construction Management, or equivalent
Minimum 8-10 years' engineering experience
Pre-contract knowledge in design, planning, and legislative requirements
Demonstrated leadership in health, safety, quality, and environmental management
Client relationship and stakeholder management experience
Highly competent with MS Office
Valid driver's license and white card
