As the Engagement Officer, Communications and Outreach, you will play a vital role in coordinating and communicating engagement activities with our valued stakeholders.

Your contributions will be instrumental in delivering successful communication engagement plans, projects, events, and functions that align with our College's goals and objectives.


In this role you will:

  • Plan, organise, and execute activities and events that enhance the reputation of the College.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful collaboration.
  • Actively communicate and promote College successes and achievements through various platforms, including online channels.
  • This continuing position is full time and will be located at the Newcastle City Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land)._

You will have:

  • Experience implementing successful communication and engagement plans in a large, complex environment.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to build and foster meaningful relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • High level project management and organisational skills, including prioritisation and working to competing deadlines.

What we offer:

The remuneration for this position is from $82,707 to $91, % superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to build effective internal / external partnerships to achieve organisational goals and successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrated initiative and highlevel administrative skills including the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, ensure attention to detail and meet competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrated project management experience including highlevel organisational skills, project evaluation and commitment to continuous improvement.
