Additional Information:

  • These roles range between Permanent Parttime and Permanent Fulltime, 50hrs76hrs/fortnight.
  • As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).

About this work area
As a Goods Flow (Forklift Driver) Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Contributing to the highest goods availability for customers by the correct and on-time execution of the store goods flow tasks.
  • Demonstrating a safe and efficient approach to secure that all stock is in the right place at the right time.
  • Working with a handson approach where you're not afraid to get your hands dirty, in a fast paced and physically demanding team environment with tight deadlines.
  • Handling of goods using different types of forklifts to complete tasks such as storing/retrieving, replenishment and internal transportation of stock within the store warehouse.

As a Goods Flow Co-worker (Forklift) you are/have:

  • Experience in driving forklifts (high reach & counterbalance) and hold a valid forklift (LF) license (preferably at least 2 years of forklift driving experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment).
  • The ability to think and act in a safe and efficient manner, to ensure smooth goods flow operation.
  • A passion for optimising supply chain and logistics operations.
  • A 'Togetherness' mindset where you'll work closely with your team and other departments yet also be able to work independently.
  • Strong customer focus, ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do.
