About the role
We are looking for a passionate and inspiring
Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join the team on a
Full-Time basis

What you will be responsible for

  • Create and nurture a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a passion for providing service
  • Identify customers' needs and respond proactively to all their concerns
  • Drive alignment of all associates, team leaders and managers to the brand's service culture
  • Set service expectations for all guests internally and externally
  • Provide services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention
  • Improve service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed
  • Serve as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors
  • Respond quickly and proactively to both guest and associate concerns and requirements
  • Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members and all hotel associates
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations
  • Conduct development and performance reviews, identifying key associates for further development and structured career pathing.
  • Conduct regular departmental meetings to keep all associates informed and actively promote a work environment, which cares for guests and associates alike
  • Strong attention to detail and customer focus
  • Must have the flexibility to work on a roster including public holidays and weekends
  • Advanced food and beverage service and knowledge and up to date with food and beverage trends and best practices
  • Valid Victorian RSA
  • A handson approach to management
  • Qualifications in hospitality management or related discipline is advantageous
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
