Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Mable Full time

We're powered by purpose

Mable is an online platform connecting Australians looking for disability and aged care support to independent support workers. Since 2014, we've been helping our community live their kind of independence, and today we're one of Australia's largest and fastest growing healthtech platforms.

We have been recognised in AFR's Fast 100 list, Deloitte's Tech Fast 50, and won the Australian Growth & Australian Technology Growth Company of the Year Award in 2020 So don't miss your opportunity to join a thriving scale-up and deliver change to Australia's care and support sector.

About the role

As a Senior Analyst, Data & Insights at Mable you will use data and analytical techniques to identify and understand our business and product challenges, communicate your insights to multiple business stakeholders, partner with cross-functional teams, and develop recommendations and prototypes to solve these challenges. You will be at the heart of a fast-paced, high growth environment where you will help drive real-world impact.

This role is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract role.

What will I be doing?
  • Structuring approaches to our business problems, and using data and analysis to understand and solve these problems.
  • Leading exploratory analysis to identify trends and insights, and verify hypotheses.
  • Identifying with data not only what is happening, but why it is happening and what it means.
  • Create and maintain dashboards to track business metrics and performance for a variety of teams.
  • Partnering with a team of operations, growth, product, engineering, and UX stakeholders.
  • Communicating your analysis, insights and recommendations to non-technical audiences, both verbally and in written form.
  • Support with technical implementation of A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy and troubleshoot issues with tracking or data collection across all platforms.
  • Work collaboratively with the data engineering team to define requirements for capture, centralisation, and harmonisation of operations data.
What are we looking for?
  • 3+ years of data analysis experience developing actionable insights.
  • Experience using Tableau & SQL or other similar tools to extract and manipulate data and create data visualisations to communicate insights.
  • Collaboration skills to partner effectively with multiple stakeholders. A "solutions mindset" of natural curiosity and a strong motivation to solve problems, no matter how complicated or ambiguous they might be.
  • Experience writing reports, creating presentations for consumption by leadership teams and executives.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, a fast-paced environment, and rapid business growth.
What else would make a difference?
  • Advanced education in a relevant field such as computer science, mathematics, business analytics, finance, or accounting.
  • Experience with python; in particular PySpark. Familiarity with Databricks and GIT is a bonus here.
  • Experience with machine learning.
Other Benefits of Working at Mable
  • Make an impact: Enjoy being part of a cohesive team with a collaborative culture that values decision-makers and action.
  • Accelerate your career: Be a part of one of Australia's fastest growing Marketplaces. We are a scale-up tech-co and our people are a huge part of this. We want all of our Mablers to feel supported in their careers and for Mable to be the place where they can grow to their full potential.
