About the Role
This is an awesome chance for a seasoned academic to make a difference in teaching and research within the Master of Speech Pathology Course at the University of Melbourne. As part of the Melbourne School of Health Sciences, you'll be involved in preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, seminars, and assessments. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordination of subjects in the Master of Speech Pathology teaching program
- Contributing to ongoing course development and delivering high-quality teaching to graduate students
- Supervising and managing research projects for speech pathology students
Who We Are Looking For
We are in search of someone eligible for membership in Speech Pathology Australia or equivalent professional organization. You should possess the ability to conduct independent teaching and research, demonstrated by a strong research profile, including publications and conference contributions. Prior teaching experience is a must, with the flexibility to teach various subjects while keeping up-to-date with clinical practices. Experience in teaching adult and/or pediatric conditions is highly valued. Your skills should also include creating assessment materials, delivering lectures, facilitating tutorials, and supporting online activities.
You should have:
- A relevant PhD or equivalent accreditation in speech pathology
- Strong communication skills to engage with various stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
