The Opportunity
The Drug Discovery Biology Theme is currently seeking a Research Fellow to join the team.


In this position, you will undertake research on an NHMRC funded project that investigates how sympathetic neural signalling affects cancer progression and treatment outcome in advanced breast cancer.


To be successful in this role, you will have experience working with cancer cell culture and animal models of cancer including in vivo imaging, surgical procedures, working with cytotoxic agents, flow cytometry, 3D immunohistochemistry and transcriptomic analyses.

You will have a doctoral qualification in the relevant discipline or a closely related field. Transcriptomics (single cell and/or spatial omics) and advanced statistics expertise including R programming are preferred.
