Our CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) and T1800 teams, with its talented team of Telephone Field Research Officers, conduct over 60,000 surveys a year on a variety of subjects from opinion polls and customer satisfaction to government and social research as well as being the first point of call for our Field Research Officers out in the community.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Call Centre Manager, the CATI & T1800 Supervisor will be:
- Supervising and motivating interviewers to achieve project targets to the highest quality standards.
- The first point of call for assistance to our Field Research Officers who out in the community conducting interviews with the general public.
- Coaching and managing the performance of interviewers (including low performance), as defined by set targets, throughout the assigned shift.
- Briefing and training interviewers in the requisite skills required to work on specific projects through collaboration with other Supervisors and Managers.
- Monitoring interviewer work performance, work output and productivity statistics during shift to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
- The primary point of contact for any support in the call centre while on shift.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience supervising a team coupled with call centre and/or market research related supervisory experience, highly desirable.
- Availability across weeknights and weekends and be able to commit to at least 20 hours per week.
- An engaging communication style with a solutions-focused with a positive and supportive approach.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- The ability to work in a fast moving environment and strong organisational skills and able to juggle multiple priorities.
- Experience working with call centre technology and systems.
- Your own Windows PC with reliable internet connection.
- Intermediate MS Office Skills.
