The Sutherland Shire is located only 26 kilometres south of Sydney's CBD, and is home to approximately 243,000 people.

Boasting some of Sydney's most iconic beaches and surrounded by significant natural areas including the Georges River and Port Hacking waterways, Kamay National Park and the Royal National Park - Australia's oldest National Park - it is a unique and thriving area.


About The Role


A creative thinker, you will be responsible for driving the key initiatives of Council's Information, Customer & Technology Strategy, including the move to SaaS and cloud hosted solutions as well as ensuring a robust support model for the One Council ERP suite and Councils highly valued GIS/LIS systems.

This is a significant role in terms of scale, deliverables and leadership in one of Sydney's most high profile and desirable Local Government Organisations.

Well-developed stakeholder management skills are a must, as is the ability to interact with all levels within the organisation together with any and all external bodies.

It is expected that as a minimum you will have tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
